Meditation helps you Reset when you’re Anything BUT at Peace
Student: I’m just wondering why we should repeat “I am peace” when it doesn’t seem true… considering what’s happening in the world right now, my experience inside and out is not one of peace.
Devon: Thank you for that courageous admission! You’re exactly correct. This statement - “I am peace” - is never true on the level of the what is being observed, whether that’s the external world or the internal experience.

Meditating in live in community gives you the encouragement, accountability, and guidance you need to get over the hurdles that come up when you’re practicing meditation.
And that means you stick with it long enough to begin to see the benefits in your daily life.
Pilates Inspired Mindful Movement
I don't teach heavily loaded spinal flexion because many in our community have neck issues and/or low bone density. Taking away heavily loaded spinal flexion eliminates a lot of the traditional Pilates exercises.
But it does not take away the deep work. Which is why I call the classes Pilates Stretch & Strengthen and the whole thing we do Mindful Movement.
